BAROMETZ (upcoming)

A fusion of prayer and vision that does not merely involve two distinct acts overlapping, but a genuine synaesthetic fusion. From footage set in a Salesian boarding school, in the style of found footage, a veritable audiovisual stained-glass window is created, superimposing ecstatic light upon the agonising and morbid human condition through catholic iconography. The prayer is percieved as a cathartic act of purification and liberation from the burden of suffering, almost like an explosion.

Gregorian chants, bleating of lambs, organ drones and sonic masses form a mystical constellation of sound linked to the vision of the Lamb of God.
